About rope incense
In Nepal, incense is lit to begin prayers and rituals and to create a calm atmosphere at home. Rope incense smoulders slowly along its twists, releasing its scent gradually.

How to burn it
Stand the rope in a heat-proof holder or a dish of sand. Light the tip, let it catch for a few seconds, then gently blow out the flame so it smoulders. Never leave burning incense unattended, keep it away from children and pets, and use it in a well-ventilated room.
Storage
Keep the incense in a cool, dry place in its wrapping so it does not absorb moisture.
