In Tibet and the Himalayas, a gau is a small prayer box worn to carry blessings, and this gau prayer box locket follows that tradition. It is made in 925 sterling silver with scrollwork, an antique finish and genuine coral, and it opens to hold something precious.

About the design
The raised (repoussé) design and the three-dimensional base are stylised forms of the dorje, a Sanskrit word for thunderbolt. In Buddhist tradition it represents an indestructible, irresistible force.
A gau was traditionally used to keep a small prayer, image or blessing close. Today it can also hold a photo or keepsake, and we encourage wearing it with respect.

Requests for return and exchange must be initiated within 24 hours of receiving the item.

Crystal Orders: Only items that have been misplaced or misdelivered can be returned immediately for an exchange. Crystals and healing stones cannot be returned or exchanged for any other reason.
