About Makalu crystal
Quartz from the Makalu region often contains other minerals, and in these beads they create earthy yellows, browns and clear zones. Every bead has its own natural pattern, so the bracelet looks different from every angle.
Many collectors value Himalayan crystal for the story of where it was found as much as for its looks. In crystal traditions, stones from high mountains are associated with strength and clarity, an idea rooted in belief rather than science.
Wearing a 15mm bracelet
Large 15mm beads make a bold statement, so this bracelet works best on its own or with a simple watch. It suits larger wrists especially well. For fitting advice, see our guide to measuring your wrist for a bracelet.
Care
Big beads are heavier, so slide the bracelet on carefully rather than stretching it wide. Remove it before showering or exercising, and wipe the beads with a soft cloth.
