About labradorite
Labradorite is a feldspar mineral whose colour flash, called labradorescence, comes from light reflecting off thin internal layers. The effect appears at certain angles and differs from stone to stone. A grey-green body colour between flashes is normal, and turning your hand slowly in daylight shows the strongest colour.
