Gold and silver work side by side in this two-tone filigree bowl. Handcrafted in Nepal, its lidded body is covered in ornate filigree and set with crystal quartz, rubies and emeralds, creating a warm, glittering effect from every angle.

Why two tones?
Pairing gold with silver gives the bowl contrast: the warmer metal outlines the pattern, while the cooler one brightens the surfaces between. Rubies and emeralds sit naturally against gold, and the clear quartz sparkles against silver.
The filigree itself is built up from slender metal wires that are bent, joined and then studded with stones by hand, so tiny irregularities are a sign of genuine handwork rather than defects.
