About the Dharmachakra
The eight-spoked wheel represents the Buddha’s teaching and the Noble Eightfold Path, and it appears on temples and ritual objects across the Himalayas. Here it gives the bowl symbolic depth as well as decoration.
At over half a kilo, the bowl has a solid, full voice. It is a tool for meditation and focus rather than a treatment.
Playing it
Strike the wall gently, then circle the rim at a steady pace. Heavier bowls like this one sustain their tone for a long time. Our singing bowl comparison guide explains how weight and size affect sound.
If you prefer an unfinished brass look, our plain Dharmachakra bowl is its natural-finish sibling. The golden finish also makes it a handsome display piece on a meditation shelf.
Care
Wipe the golden finish with a dry cloth after use and avoid abrasive polish.
