About the design
In Hindu tradition Ganesh is the remover of obstacles and a symbol of wisdom and good beginnings. Nepal has a long history of shared Hindu and Buddhist art, and this bowl reflects that blend. We present the image respectfully and leave its devotional use to you.
Many people ring a bowl to begin prayer or meditation. It is a spiritual and mindful practice, not a medical one.
Playing it
Place the bowl on its cushion, tap the side once, then circle the rim slowly. Our beginner’s bowl guide explains the technique.
Care
Wipe it with a dry cloth and keep it on its cushion to protect the base.
